Sire: Kitten’s Joy
Kitten’s Joy has been a leading sire in North America since his first crop hit the ground running in 2009. He was the #1 leading sire in North America in 2013 and again in 2018. In between those lofty years he was never lower than 5th on that list.
Kitten Joy’s rank on the North American Leading Sires List
2014 3rd
2015 3rd
2016 5th
2017 3rd
2018 1st

In addition, Kitten’s Joy has been the #1 Leading Turf sire in North America for the past 6 years, from 2013-2018.
The above rankings do not include European races. In 2018, Kitten’s Joy had only 33 runners in Europe yet finished #6 on their Leading Sire’s list.
The European 2018 Horse of the Year is a son of Kitten’s Joy – Roaring Lion.
Mark Scully of the Racing Post quoted David Redvers on Roaring Lion: “He is by some margin the best horse I have ever been involved with and is the toughest horse I have seen on a racecourse. His class, durability, and will to win made him look cut from a different cloth this season, and his pedigree and looks make him one of the most attractive stallion prospects to retire to stud in recent years.”

As far as passing quality racing genes to the next generation, Kitten’s Joy ranks at the highest echelon of North American stallions.
Here is a chance to have a good looking daughter of this great stallion.
Dam: Dixie Drama
Dixie Drama is a daughter of the Champion Racehorse and now stallion, Blame. Blame may be best known for handing Zenyatta her only lifetime defeat in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
Blame ran nine races in a row with 100+ Beyer numbers and earned $4.3 million.
Blame sired 13 different Stakes Winners in 2018 including G1 Winners Marley’s Freedom, Senga and Fault.
Dixie Drama, our filly’s dam, is a half sister to the Stakes Winning and Graded Placed KYRAKI and is in the family of the G1 winning millionaire fillies STELLAR JAYNE and STARRER.
Dixie Drama was sold as a weanling in the Keeneland Breeding Stock sale in 2013 for $170,000, which was the highest price of the 11 weanlings by Blame at the sale.
Our Kitten’s Joy filly is the first foal of Dixie Drama.
IN SHORT: This good looking daughter of Kitten’s Joy has the pedigree and physique to give her a legitimate chance of racing at a very high level, which is our goal for her.
