Classic Empire’s Racing Achievements:
As a two year old:
Won the Grade 3 Bashford Manor Stakes at Churchill Downs and the Grade 1 Breeders Futurity Stakes at Keeneland on his was to victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.
Regarding the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile victory, the Bloodhorse.com quotes Steve Haskin: “one of the most impressive performances ever seen in the BC Juvenile.”

As a Three year old:
Won the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby.
Finished 4th on a sloppy track in the Kentucky Derby.
Finished 2nd by a head in the Preakness Stakes, his final race.
Classic Empire’s Stud Record:
Classic Empire’s first 2 year old crop was in 2021. He has had 7 Stakes Winners from that first
crop and currently ranks third on the North American earnings list of 3rd crop sires.
Of third crop sires, he ranks second in Earnings Per Start, only surpassed by Gun Runner.
His 3 year old colt, Angel of Empire, recent winner of the Arkansas Derby, has over 150 qualifying points for the 2023 Kentucky Derby and will be one of the favorites in that race. Now, as of July 2023 he has earned over $1.4 million.
Interestingly, Classic Empire’s Breeders Cup Juvenile’s first three finishers were: Classic Empire, Not This Time, Practical Joke, all three becoming leading sires of their generation.
Take a look at the 14 horse, Angel of Empire (brother to our partnership horse!) down the stretch of the 2023 Kentucky Derby. He comes up just short, finishing 3rd, but we think he’s moving faster than anyone else at the finish line!

The #1 sire by Percentage of Grade 1 Stakes Horses
It’s difficult to be better than #1.
Like Dynaformer, War Front’s stud fee has been as high as $250,000.
IN SHORT: This good looking Classic Empire colt has the pedigree and physique to give him a legitimate chance of racing at a very high level. which is our goal for him.
Classic Empire was an early foal, being born March 14th, helping him to race as a 2 year old. Our Partnership colt was born on March 4th. We would love to race him as a 2 year old.
